7. Updates
This Privacy Policy is valid from September 2025. Updates will be published on this website.
8. Usage, Safety and Liability Information
Hearing Test Feature in the Equalizer Apps
Some of our equalizer apps include a hearing test feature that plays tones in different frequency ranges through headphones.
Set the volume to a low level before starting the hearing test and increase it only with caution. Excessive volume or prolonged exposure to loud tones may damage your hearing.
Stop the hearing test immediately if the sound becomes uncomfortable or if you experience pain, pressure in the ears, ringing in the ears, dizziness or any other discomfort.
The hearing test feature is intended solely for personal guidance and for adjusting the app. It does not constitute a medical examination, diagnosis or treatment and does not replace an examination or consultation by a doctor, hearing care professional or other qualified healthcare professional.
Measurement Features of the App “Bubble Level with Camera”
The measurement values displayed by the app “Bubble Level with Camera”, including inclination, angle and alignment values, are calculated using the sensors available in the respective device and, where applicable, the camera image.
The accuracy of the measurements may be affected by factors including the device model, the quality and calibration of the sensors, the device case, the installation position of the sensors, temperature fluctuations, magnetic or mechanical influences and the way in which the app is used.
The zero-point adjustment is intended solely to compensate for device-specific or situation-specific deviations. It does not guarantee complete or permanently consistent measurement accuracy.
The app does not replace a calibrated professional measuring instrument or an instrument approved for safety-critical, technical, trade-related or official purposes. Important or safety-relevant measurements should be verified using a suitable measuring instrument.
Measurement Features of the App “Sound Meter: dB & Spectrum”
The sound level, decibel and frequency values displayed by the app “Sound Meter: dB & Spectrum” are calculated using the microphone built into the respective device and the audio data provided by the Android system.
The accuracy of the measurements may be affected by factors including the device model, the quality and frequency range of the microphone, device-specific signal processing, automatic gain control, the position or obstruction of the microphone, the use of a device case, environmental conditions and the calibration applied within the app.
Calibration or manual correction may reduce device-specific deviations, but it does not guarantee complete, permanently consistent or standards-compliant measurement accuracy.
The app does not replace a calibrated professional sound level meter or a measuring instrument approved under a technical standard. In particular, the measurements must not be used as the sole basis for occupational, medical, regulatory, expert or other safety-related assessments of noise exposure.
Where potentially harmful noise exposure is suspected, suitable professional measuring instruments and, where appropriate, qualified specialists should be consulted.
Measurement and Recording Features of the “Offline Sport Tracker”
The distance, location, speed, elevation and other activity values displayed by the “Offline Sport Tracker” are calculated using the location and sensor data provided by the respective device and the Android system.
The accuracy and completeness of these values may be affected by factors including the device model, the quality of GPS or GNSS reception, buildings, tunnels, forests, terrain, weather conditions, the position in which the device is carried, battery-saving settings, interruptions to background operation, the frequency of location updates and inaccurate or delayed location data.
Recorded routes may therefore differ from the route actually travelled, omit individual points or contain inaccurate position jumps. Values calculated from this data, including distance, speed, pace or elevation gain, may also be inaccurate.
Where the app calculates additional values such as calorie expenditure, training load or similar activity data, these are estimates that depend on the data entered, the calculation methods used and the individual physical characteristics of the user.
The app does not replace a professional navigation, surveying, sports diagnostics or medical device. In particular, it must not be used as the sole navigation or safety tool in dangerous, unfamiliar or difficult-to-access terrain.
During outdoor activities, users should remain aware of their surroundings, local routes, weather conditions, warning notices and their own physical limits. In emergencies, the app is not intended to replace official rescue, location or communication systems.
Liability
The hearing test and measurement features must be used in accordance with the safety and usage information set out above.
Androho Software shall be liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for damage resulting from a culpable injury to life, body or health, in cases where an express guarantee has been given and in accordance with the mandatory provisions of applicable product liability law.
In the event of a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, liability shall be limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract at the time the contract was concluded. Essential contractual obligations are obligations whose fulfilment is necessary for the proper use of the relevant app and on whose fulfilment users may generally rely.
In all other respects, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory statutory liability provisions remain unaffected.
10. Data Security
We use technical and organizational security measures in accordance with Art. 32 GDPR to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or unauthorized access.
This includes, among other things, encrypted data transmission via TLS/SSL. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
